What is the NW Regional App Challenge?
An invitation for 4th – 8th grade girls to design, create, and present their computer coded project. They create Apps that solve community problems. Winning teams are awarded scholarships 1st place $5000, 2nd place $2500 and 3rd place $1000.
Why have an App Challenge?
The App Challenge gives young girls the chance to present their project and it’s associated benefits in a simulated real-world environment. The App Challenge focuses participants on a goal, teaches them time management, team building, presentation skills, and computer coding expertise.
